ok about time for an update on my fish...

Malawi Tank:

70Ltr (19gal) tank,
running heater, 3 stage filter system, halogen bulbs, full length air stone.

2 X Albino Dragon-Blood Peacock Cichlids
3 X Electric Yellow Labs, Labidochromis
3 X Red Forest Jewels
and about 3 Giant Golden Mystery Snails

 Community Tank:

40Ltr (10.5gal) Hexagon tank,
running heater, sidewall filter, circular air stone.

6 X Golden Tiger Barbs
6 X Neon Tetras
2 X X-ray Fish
approx 10 X Golden Mystery Snails

and now the question, im about to come into aquision of a tank which is approximately 400ltrs, and i need ideas for what to do with it. ive already ruled out a marine setup as its just too big! was thinking on tin foil barbs ($150each) or someform of brackish detup or an eel or something different. ideas anyone????

hi everybody well what has good ol sam been up too? come close and ill tell you a story...

the last few weeks have been amazingly busy for me as in well over 80 hours weeks...
first i was flown up to amberly (south west brisbane, near ipswich) for a Battalion Parade, so there goes 7 days.
then i was home for a total of a day and half in which i had to get my field gear ready because we went on a 3 week exercise out past the blue mountains.(cold this time of year btw). and then just for fun we were once again home for 2ish days and then out to the range for a week of fun and kibbles conducting LF1-LF6 Sec Defence day and night on all as well as sneaker lanes and pairs sneaker. not bad for a "pouge" unit..
got home from hospital last night as i had my 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday, they gave me some good drugs so im unsure if it actually hurts or not.
my parachuting course is in very early june which will keep me very busy for that month as well as i am getting married on the 28th os that month, so para course(AIRBORNE!!) 2-16june then leave 20th june. so a total of 4 days at work after para course...nice.
well that'll do
cheers

There once was an island west of the sunset,
A place where the sun's rays danced carefree and bright.
Its shores all a'sparkle in white shining beaches,
And jungles aplenty with game day and night.

They say that the people who dwelt there were happy,
They say that they lived their lives simple and fair,
Yet one day a bitter wind rose from the ocean
And took the poor folk by suprise unaware.

For ruin had risen with thunderous fury,
A ravenous shadow fell over the shore.
And when Father Dagon's black gullet gaped open
The waves ran with blood and the isle was no more.

good afternoon all and sundry,
who is everyone? me and my beautiful fience are good although the weather down here has been rather amazingly intermittent with 37 degree days following through to 22 and pissing down rain the next.
other than the annoying weather and boring(to you) wedding prep of which i have finally gotten my leave approved for, nothing else has really been happening.
so to write one of my shortest updates,
i leave you

seems as if i havn't posted in quite a while and i suppose i would be correct.

i now live in Puckapulyal in VIC, but its a trasitionary phase as all im doing here is a course so sould be out of here in about 5 weeks, and then up to Sydney.
went to melbourne the other weekend not as interesting as perhaps it could have been but then again i didn't go to have a good time (Wedding Business and all that jazz) so perhaps next time i may be able to see some of the sights around town.

steve get in contact with tiff bridge that gap.

have you ever tried to teach somone how to play chess?
as in someone who has no idea of the game nor of how to play it?
as in someone who calls knights horsies and rooks those roundie things on the ends?
ahh the fun of it all.
by the second game i was just chasing down peices for fun.
me thinks andrew needs some more practice. i just found one of my spare boards and some peices so i might give them to him with a chess made easy book or something just to get him started.

well time seems to be coming to an end. not of course in a literal sence although that would be cool.
army heading off too on monday coming, and me immensly busy between now and hence.
lets see today: went shopping with the mother for clothing.
watched cool runnings.
going to my grandfathers this afternoon to proof read the second half of his book for him(autobiography)
most probably going out to caboolture this evening to see my grandmother and drop into alex's.
then tomorrow more packing i think then probably taking andew and leisa out for dinner in precongratulatoryness on their upcoming wedding as i will be unable to make it,and give them their wedding present.
saturday i need to go up to kippa ring to pick up mine and tiffany's wedding bands as they are now all paid off, then BBQ at andrews for his bucks at 3pm then off to the city for fun and rampage for the better part of that evening.
apparently tiff want to do some sort of BBQ on sunday with friends but i can't see that going off particularly well as all the girls would be at the hens night the night before and all the guys would have been at the bucks and probably couldn't even stand on the sunday let alone eat.
that'll do for now.

Aloof and animalistic, you belong to the Gangrel Clan. Closely associated with werewolves, you are the shapeshifting vampire. You prefer nature than to live in the city and prefer the company of animals than of humans. You are more known to keep to yourself then to help others. You are the lone wolf of the decendents of Caine.

ive found a new definition that i would love to share in the medium of music.
definition: licheloved/good 'ol necrophilia

i dug you up this morning,
and took you home.
to have you here beside me, cold but close
i made my mind up last night
that heaven just can't have you.

i made you breakfast, but you would not eat
so, i took your black dress off and washed you clean
i made my mind up last night
that heaven just can't have you.

the sheets are creased from your last day
a siloette of where you lay.
they'll find your headstone in the yard,
with your black dress and my guitar.

ill carry you back to back to your grave,
where you and i will always stay.
they'll close the casket, it gets dark,
they'll find us in each others arms.

goal: how to create happy drug lords.
step 1, go to jamaica
step 2, buy a lot of hair clippers
step 3, get dredlocks and fill a 40ft shipping container
step 4, ship said container to cuba
step 5, meet up with cuban drug lords
step 6, using 'how to win friends and influence people' philosophies convince them that hair is actually some form of highly neurotic drug fibres
step 7, hair goes into cuban cigars

outcome.
cubans die due to the fact that jamaican dredlocks are so impregnated with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (and jamaicans being immune to this drug) that they falls into such a lethargy that they couldn't be bothered to move to find 'munchies'.
jamaicans move to america and join army due to the fact their heads are already shaved.
jamaicans are sent to iraq and are blown up by own troops.

apple flavoured cheese...

indeed apple flavoured cheese, the next phase in my all emcompassing anti french/tasmanian plan.
one: steal all the apples from tasmania.
two: steal all the cheese makers from france.
three: giant blender.
four: apple flavoured cheese.
vin likes cheese he'll get into it.
next phase operation steal water.
1: travel to the whitsundays
2: buy lots of microwaves
3: destroy water
4: claim little dead fish due to the fact they have no water left
5: eat said fish, thereby consuming the rights to the next nemo movie.
6: have rights to next nemo movie.

operation put operation into operation.
step 1: make a disney/pixar film about stripey fish and like to partake of apple flavoured cheeses.
step 2: little kids now amazingly like the taste of apple flavoured cheese.

so no infrastructure for tasmania, and no cheese for frogs.
excellent now just another couple of hundred countrys to destroy and ill be done.
well what a rant much fun

morning,
as in morning a definition:
The word morning referred originally to the sunrise, but has been extended to mean the whole early part of the day, from dawn to noon. Often the start of morning is extended before dawn, this time is considered the small hours (wee small hours) of the morning, so it can come to mean midnight to midday (in cultures using the 12-hour clock, these hours are ante meridiem, A.M., a.m., or am). Morning precedes midday, afternoon, and night in a day.

anyway i drank too muck sake last night and couldn't sleep really well. i was actually in bed about 11 but then i must have decided to wake up about 12:30 and have water stumbing about blinded by my lack of eyes working. then i was awake ultil about 4am when i decidid to go have more water.
the evil day moon is too bright now. but at least im not feeling seedy.
ahh mondays, i have the added bonus of not owrking today nor for the following two weeks due to the fact i have quit work huzzahs all round. im off to the defence force of defending goodness after my much needed respite from work so much packing and training should be going on within the forseeable future.
anyway thats where i stand, with my head in my hands and an empty bottle of sake to contain my thoughts.
night.

You are The Chariot

Triumph, Victory, Overcoming Obstacles.

The chariot is one of the most complex cards to define. On its most basic level, it implies war, a struggle, and an eventual, hard-won victory. Either over enemies, obstacles, nature, the beasts inside you, or to just get what you want. But there is a great deal more to it. The charioteer wears emblems of the sun, yet the sign behind this card is the moon. The chariot is all about motion, and yet it is often shown as stationary. It is a union of opposites, like the black and white steeds. They pull in different directions, but must be (and can be!) made to go together in one direction. Control is required over opposing emotions, wants, needs, people, circumstances; bring them together and give them a single direction, your direction. Confidence is also needed and, most especially, motivation. The card can, in fact, indicate new motivation or inspiration, which gets a stagnant situation moving again.
